What this work actually does

When you can read the narrative that has been running your life, something shifts in how you move through it. Not just awareness of the pattern, but agency inside it.

The people who do this work stop feeling like life is happening to them. They start making choices from a different place. The spinning slows. The same endings stop arriving. What they want becomes something they are actively building toward, not something waiting on the other side of one more insight.

It is a different kind of awareness. One that does not overwhelm but gives you traction. Grounded, present, and moving in a direction that is actually yours.

Nicole Burron

I'm a writer, archetype translator, and someone who has spent a long time paying close attention to the stories people tell about themselves without knowing they're telling them.

The Archetype Lab exists because I kept noticing the same thing: people who understood themselves deeply were still arriving at the same endings. The insight was real, the self-awareness was genuine. And the story had not changed.

This method is built around that gap. The place between knowing your pattern and actually moving through it.

How I got here

In 2020 I launched The Root Shadow Work Journey and began working directly with people in subconscious work, group courses, and 1:1 sessions. Over 150 people. I also trained in grief recovery, nervous system support, and trauma-informed care, I wanted to understand the full architecture of what keeps people in the same story.

In 2023 I took a creative sabbatical. I had a separate business venture change my life in ways I did not expect. I made my dream of becoming a published author real and I spent two years rebuilding, paying close attention to my own narratives and patterns from the inside out, and meeting the version of myself on the other side of them.

Between 2023 and 2025 I went deep into the connection between storytelling, the subconscious, and archetypes. What I found became the method. In 2026, The Archetype Lab was born.

I am 40, a mother, a wife, a community member, and a creative. I write dark fiction and paint fairy flowers. Everything bleeds into everything else, and I would not have it any other way.
